AltX Research K.K. is pleased to announce that Hakuhodo Inc. has joined as a Vision Partner for “Japan Smart Chain (JSC),” a Japan-sovereign Layer 1 blockchain developed by AltX Research. Through this partnership, the two companies will collaborate to develop a next-generation fan engagement platform in the content area, leveraging the Japan Smart Chain. The initiative aims to revitalize IPs and contents with passionate fan communities and create sustainable connections between fans and the content they love.

As digital transformation continues to reshape how fans and content interact, Hakuhodo has been actively investing in fandom and intellectual property (IP) to foster new forms of relationships and expand value creation in the content ecosystem. Recognizing the alignment between these efforts and the mission of Japan Smart Chain — “to streamline Japan’s digital ecosystem by building a sovereign web3 infrastructure for a better future of everyday life” — Hakuhodo evaluated highly the convenience and security provided by JSC’s “Mizuhiki Suite” technology stack, which is specifically optimized for compliance and security.

JSC is a Japan-sovereign, Ethereum-compatible Layer 1 blockchain validated by domestic industry leaders. As a “compliance-first” chain, it embeds blacklist enforcement and transaction prioritization, offering trusted infrastructure for regulated digital-asset services without compromising usability.
The Mizuhiki Suite builds on this foundation, providing modular tools for on-chain identity, compliance, and risk management; enabling businesses to launch compliant digital services without fragmented off-chain processes.
